For generations, Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle has been one of Western Australia’s true homes of live music—a place where songs are discovered, careers are built, and unforgettable nights unfold. On Friday August 28, that tradition continues with two of WA’s finest independent artists sharing the stage for a special night of live music.
Award-winning singer-songwriter Abbe May opens the evening with an intimate solo performance, bringing the fearless songwriting, unmistakable voice and captivating presence that have made her one of Australia’s most celebrated artists.
She’ll be followed by Lightnin Jack, joined by the rollicking Blake Hart on drums. Together, the duo delivers a powerful blend of blues, roots and country, combining Jack’s driving guitar work and gravel-soaked vocals with Hart’s instinctive, dynamic percussion. It’s a performance that moves effortlessly from intimate storytelling to full-throttle, foot-stomping energy.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or discovering these artists for the first time, this promises to be one of those rare nights where great songs, great musicians and a legendary venue come together.
